Sometimes you want to sell a horse and you hardly get there, and sometimes you hardly want to and the horse sells itself...

Patrik Lutz and his longtime partner Georges Deneuker announce the sale of the son of Indoctro and half-brother of Camille Z, Joepie du Coeur des Collines, to Enda Caroll's Ashford Farm.

Joepie, bred by Erik Vandewiele and ridden by Charlotte Lutz Delhalle, was shown a few weeks ago to Brazilian rider Fernando Guinato, already involved in the sale of Camille Z about ten years ago. He really wanted to try Joepie despite an uncommercial price and planned to get it purchased by a Portuguese investor. But as this investor seemed undecided, Guinato proposed the deal spontaneously to his friend Marlon Zanotelli and to Enda Caroll who bought the horse straight away, without ever really having seen it!

Congratulations to Georges Deneuker who is, by the way, as well the owner of the mother of HH Azur, McLain Ward's top mare and winner of the GP5* 1m60 in Calgary early july!

Remains to mention that Atlanta des Sequoias, daughter of Aktion Pur Z and Joepie's full sister, can be seen at the Z-Festival this week-end, qualifier for the auction of September.
