Yesterday 5-year-old French mare Iriota arrived from Utrecht, from the famous faculty of veterinary medicine from Utrecht University!
Iriota is carrying an embryo of Comme Il Faut out of our broodmare Latina R !
Everybody might already know Comme Il Faut, the son of Cornet Obolensky and Ratina Z, bred by nobody else than Ludger Beerbaum himself! Together with German rider Marcus Ehning he has won numerous 5* Grand Prix and Nations Cups.
Latina R, by Andiamo x Chellano, is special to us as she is the dam of our former horse Top of the Bill N89 Z, one of our all time favorites! Together with Bertrand Genin, Top of the Bill has won in 2022 an important YH Grand Prix at MET Oliva. Meanwhile 8 years old and ridden by Guillaume Foutrier (FRA), "Billy" was clear and placed in the last eight classes in which he took part!
Also Latina's second (Carrasco N89 Z by Clarimo ASK) and third (Delhi N89 Z by Don VHP Z) off-spring seem very promising and are already having great results in the Belgian national young horse classes.
